SACRAMENTO, Calif.—Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. and LiCAP Technologies, Inc. have announced a strategic alliance aimed at advancing electric vehicle battery innovation. The collaboration centers on the integration of LiCAP’s proprietary dry electrode technology—a manufacturing method designed to eliminate volatile organic compounds and other hazardous substances common in traditional processes.
Aligned with Nissan’s sustainability objectives, the initiative seeks to enhance production efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and establish new benchmarks for energy storage.
