He reaffirmed China’s support for India as it hosts this year’s BRICS summit and called for increased collaboration within the expanded BRICS framework.
On his part, Jaishankar expressed India’s commitment to fostering a positive and cooperative relationship with China. He reiterated India’s positions regarding Taiwan and Xizang (Tibet), underscoring India’s respect for China’s sovereignty in these matters.
